Mango Clothes Shopping! Leap Year!

Not sure about you, but I do like to go shopping by myself sometimes. Other than the fact that I need not feel bad about making my shopping partner to wait around, I can shop in my own comfortable pace. Of course, there are times where I need a second opinion. And that's where the camera phone, Whatsapp (to my sis) and social media come to my rescue for my indecisiveness! :p

I have a VERY bad habit of buying clothes in different colors but of the same design. This is something that I am trying very hard to stop doing. But sometimes, the design fits me to the T that I can't help but to do so. *guilty* So when I came across this top (as seen in picture below), I couldn't decide on which color to buy...

Red is my favorite color... So I liked this alot.

But I felt it might be kinda 'loud'.
Afterall the front cutting is rather 'attention-grabbing' already.

(That's my new Dior bag which I have been carrying recently, will blog about it, with pics! Yay~)

And I thought the navy blue color is more subtle...
And I REALLY couldn't choose between these 2, so I ended up NOT buying any of it.

YES. I WALKED OUT.
EMPTY-HANDED.

Please give me a round of applause. Heh~

But few days later, I was back at the Mango store, but this time, at another branch. I was looking for a coat, which I bought this one eventually (as pictured below)...

Neither too thick nor thin.
Great for normal day wear or to cooler countries with probably a 16-20 degrees Celsius.. or even at 10-12 degree celsius (at least for me lah~).

And pardon the way that I looked, was out without makeup.

Then I saw the top which I was so indecisive about...
And yes, I bought the top eventually.
The Navy Blue color. Heh! yup this one >>

Anyway, bought these few weeks ago, probably a good 3 to 4 weeks ago.
Haven't wear the navy blue top yet.
But I wore the coat when I was away in Taipei awhile ago.

By the way... Wow, today is 29 February... 2012 is a Leap Year. Happens only once every 4 years. And this is my thoughts on Leap Year and Love:
Leap Year is special, nice to spend it with your partner since it happens only once every 4 years... But it can be scary if you spend it with a new Love, with no clue if he/she will be spending it with you 4 yrs later.
Abit skeptical on new love you may say, but hey, you can't blame a Cancerian for being overly-cautious! :p

For myself, I do not have any travel plans (to anywhere that s at least 3 hours flights away) for now, except for some upcoming ones for business, as well as leisure trips. In fact, I have just returned from my overseas business trip a few days ago. The weather over at the country was about 15 Degree Celsius, whereby night was about 10 Degree Celsius. A coat was more than sufficient, paired with a pair of leggings to keep my legs warm and well. There was a night where I even went out wearing just a coat, bodycon dress and my pair of heels. No leggings at all. Alright, it was rather cold, at 10 D.C.

Nevertheless, I may pop by for a visit this weekend.
Who knows I may be able to grab some awesome travel deals? :)

Somewhere, somehow...
One day, I do want to visit Barcelona, Athens, Kyoto, and of course... Tahiti.
*winks*

Lunch at Itacho Sushi

Since last year, Itacho Sushi has been my regular casual sushi restaurant that I dine at, other than Sushi Tei. This establishment started in HK amd there are alot of branches in HK itself. In Singapore itself, they have opened 3 branches at Plaza Singapura, Ion Orchard and Bugis Junction. What draws me there, especially, is the chawanmushi (steamed egg) that comes with the ikura (fish roe).

So my recent meal was no exception, whereby I ordered the chawanmushi with ikura. As I am currently watching my diet, I didn't order much for this round... So lack of pictures of the other food I have. But I had tried quite a number of food from the menu, and taken pictures of them. Probably will look through my photo archive and sieve out some for posting in future posts. :)

They have a special menu just for tamago.
And this dish is one of the various types.

Ok, I wanted to eat vegs, so I ordered the crabmeat salad. But little did I know that I will be presented with this whole load of white mayo! That kinda defeated my purpose of watching my diet right? *pouts* So I scrapped out as much mayo as I possibly could. IF ONLY the staff was smart enough to ask customers if they want mayo or not. Discarding the presence of the mayo, I will recommend you to order this! :)

Anyway, sidetrack a lil before I end this post:
I am really happy of the results which I am getting from my effort of watching my diet and exercising. In 5 days, I lost 1.5kg and my body fat percentage went down by approximately 2%. And mind you, I have been eating regularly and did not skip any meals at all. Super happy! (^_^)

No more 'Lil Princess'. And it's Valentine's Day!

If you have been following my blog for more than 2 years, you should know that I used to have a nick 'Lil Princess', and even to the extent of including it in my blog URL for my previous blog. And of which, I was ever featured and interviewed in The Sunday Times newspapers, TODAY newspapers, magazines, etc, based on my previous blog.

And this article was found in the
Malaysian newspaper publication: The Star. (15/Aug '06).

Well, there's more, but just that I don't have the soft copies.
The above 2 pictures were sent to me by Winnie back then.

So anyway, despite the extensive use of the term 'Princess' years ago... I outgrew this nick and stopped calling myself 'Princess' in any sort of situations to whoever or whatever, in the recent one or two years.

I mean, it will be nice to be my boyfriend's Princess... Why not? It certainly feels so sweet and loving, and feel so precious like to be his Precious Lil One whom he will love, dote and protect. But to be called a Princess at the age of 40 in future? Hello.... I should be called a 'Matriarch' or 'Queen' by then (if so I wish to be called something)! Thus, that was why the 'Princess' nick thingy kinda took a backseat. I'd rather be called 'My Lady', or 'My Highness'~~~ :p

When I was out for dinner and drinks last week, I came across a porcelain mug which I was instantly attracted to - Not for the color or design, but for the wordings, as seen in the picture below.

photo(6)

The words 'Formerly Princess' were what that caught my attention.
It was really something that I could really relate to.
And thus I really felt strongly that this mug was totally apt for me!

So I had to have it!
photo(7)

And also bought a diamond-encrusted cup cover that sticks to the mug tightly.
photo(5)

I think that the mug and cover fits perfectly for each other.
The combination of both made it looked so pretty, dainty and girlish.
I wouldn't insist on being hailed as a 'Goddess' by my Special Someone...
But being regarded as his Goddess, wouldn't be a bad idea! :p

So there you go... My new drinking mug for myself when I am in the office. :)

It's going to be Valentine's Day in less than an hour!

And this Valentine's Day,
let's play tribute to Whitney Houston with her song 'I Will Always Love You".
