There are about 100 outlets all across Singapore for you to choose from! For myself, I prefer going to one of the Irish watering holes in Singapore... :)

Registering and redeeming the free Guinness draught pint is that simple! Whether you are a Guinness lover, stout lover, beer lover, or even just curious how this creamy dark malt taste like, don't hesitate and quickly get your free pint today, because the 20K Guinness pints get redeemed really quickly! Share this blogpost with your family, colleagues, friends or even that guy/lady that you see each day at your office lobby!

02

While you are at it, wear green like a leprechaun... Especially if you are heading to the annual St Patrick's Street Festival happening at Circular Road (Boat Quay) from 17 to 19 March 2017. Fun-filled family-friendly activities for the kids, music performances, and of course, lotsa Guinness (the official beer for the festival)! Of course there will be other beers available, but if you know me well enough, my preference is stout. But to know why... That's another story for another day. ;)

03

I cannot wait to go to the Street Festival happening in 2 weeks' time --- Similar to last year, I can eat, drink and go merry with my Stout while enjoying celtic music (which I grown to love while living in London back then!). On a side note, my only regret during my months in London was not making a trip to Dublin to visit the Guinness Storehouse (Reason: I could not bring myself to go to the scenic Ireland by myself!).

Hope you will find a four-leaf clover one day!
Till then, a SaltBae shot inspired by Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe!

Meet The CLEO Most Eligible Bachelors 2016 X Hottest Denim Party By GUESS

Last two Saturdays ago, I had two events to attend in town. One was the monthly "The Gallery Experience" by Mandarin Gallery. For one weekend a month, the Mandarin Gallery transforms indoor and outdoor spaces to Instagram-worthy places for activities such as Surf Set, Barre and Silent Yoga. It was really gorgeous with all the colours, lighting and more!

Other than an adrenaline rush after doing all the fitness exercises, another way to get a rush of blood to one's head would have been attending the "Hottest Denim Party" by GUESS, where attendees get to meet and mingle with the finalists of the CLEO Most Eligible Bachelors 2016 contest!!! Click [HERE] to check out the contestants! ;)

This was my Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) for the whole
of Saturday....

 photo IMG_4268.jpg

No brainer here, but obviously an event to showcase eligible bachelors would have more guests from the gentler gender. That was the only thing that I would like to complain about, as I had to fight with the other ladies for the bachelors' attention. There were many reasons why this event was AWESOME, and here are some...

(1) PHOTOBOOTH
Who wouldn't like to have their photos taken? What's more, via a GIF PHOTO BOOTH, and the shots can be sent to your email, or best... To upload immediately onto our own Instagram account. Other than that, a copy of the four poses were printed for us to keep. SWEET!~

(2) CANAPES N' DRINKS

 photo P1010634_.jpg

(3) HUMOROUS AND GORGEOUS-LOOKING EMCEE
The event emcee was none other than 987FM DJ, Sonia Chew! The petite and pretty Sonia rah-rah the crowd with her jokes and energy!

(4) VALUABLE STYLING TIPS
CLEO's Fashion Director, Janice, gave us style tips for different body types and sizes, when it comes to selecting "THE" jeans that is the most suitable for one's body type. There were four models of different body build as examples of the different body types.

(5) MEN MEN MEN (!!!)
*Ahem* Needless to say.  Some of the contestants were SO young! Darn, I feel old. A handful were charismatic and outgoing, whereas some could still work on their stage presence (says me, a previous pageant contestant, and winner to boot). Anyway, one of them, Christopher Hwang,  is still a law student but already an entrepreneur, owning the swanky Suite26 club. Talk about being eligible, ladies~

 photo P1010648_.jpg

(6) PURCHASE DISCOUNT
All menswear purchase came with an awesome discount! You bet that I wouldn't miss it for the world, and I walked out of the Guess boutique with paper bags

(7) GOODIE BAG
These were given to us in the goodie bag. I have my own Guess mug now! There's a $50 voucher, CLEO magazine and a very useful To-Do notepad. Oh, and thats the printout of the photos taken at the GIF Photo Booth. :)

 photo FullSizeRender.jpg

(8) TICKET TO THE CLEO MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELORS 2016 FINALS
Not all guests would have it. But I have a pair!!! I'm still contemplating of going though.

 photo IMG_4363.jpg

The CLEO x Guess event was to start supposedly at 3pm, but it took quite awhile before it officially started (much to some excited ladies' annoyance probably, haha!). The eligible bachelors introduced themselves, while Sonia made jokes and teased them, which led the crowd laughing away. There was also a game where ten ladies got to pick clothes from a whole rack of selected Guess jackets and tops and dress the contestants up. Janice picked the best-dressed dude, and I have to say, it was really a great outfit! The event ended about 5pm.

Ohhh.. That's Aurelia from Night Owl Cinematics (NOC)!!
Super sweet & pretty~~~

Lady Gaga - Born This Way Ball 2012 concert photo / pictures (PART 1)

Have you ever had this 'after-effect feeling' after a BIG or IMPORTANT event had happened in your life? Where scenes of that event kept replaying vividly in your mind the whole day? I recently did. This is what happening to me ever since a week ago, ever since last Monday... After spending an evening with Lady Gaga and the other Lil Monsters. So much so that even just by listening to her songs would have me think of that unforgettable and memorable night (I am replaying 'Bloody Mary' while blogging this post, by the way). Even during the wee hours at 5.20am, I could even think of her (see my tweet below):

Lady Gaga concert tweet

It all started four months ago when I heard the news that Lady Gaga would be having a one-day concert in Singapore. That got me so excited... I knew I had to be there! A one-day concert? Definitely a sold-out... How would I be able to get my hands of good awesome seats? And the next best thing that could happened was that American Express (AMEX) credit card members would be able to enjoy priority booking on 24 February 2012, 3 days before Lady Gaga concert tickets would be up for sale at Sistic on 27 February.

LAdy Gaga AMEX

What is with priority booking? Well, at least I would be able to select better seats. And a good seat I have gotten, after being on a long phone call with one of the Sistic telesales agent. Can you imagine I was 'camping' by my phone at 9.50am, calling in already, even though the advanced ticket sale would only start at 10am? I was that determined to get good seats. (And of course, we all know that Lady Gaga decided to hold 2 more concerts in Singapore eventually, instead of only one on May 28.)

From that day that I managed to get the tickets, I could only anticipate for the arrival of May 28. And that would be like a pre-birthday event for me, since my birthday would be exactly 1 month from the day of the concert.

And so, the day of the Ball arrives...

The Lil Monsters awaiting for their Queen of the Kingdom of Fame.
The excitement was simply palpable.

I was planning of this yellow-black tape outfit for the concert actually.
But I could only find those red-white stripes one.  *SAD*

I wore this pair of heels to the concert.
When I saw this pair months back when I was shopping,
I bought it as I felt it was rather 'Gaga-ish', even before I got the tickets.

I wanted to buy this, but it has to be shipped from US.
I am still considering even till now. Lovely pair of wedges, right? :D

Whatever it was, though I didn't don any Lady Gaga MV-inspired outfits that night,
I really enjoyed seeing the others donning similarly to Gaga herself.

One more picture before I end this post...

Stay tuned for the next post.... For Lady Gaga pictures and videos will be up!!!

Review: Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer

I admit, I do not usually use a makeup base. The only makeup base I have ever used in my entire life is Ettusais's Medicated Acne Whitening UV. So when a friend gushed about how wonderful the Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer was, I decided to give it a try.

It comes in a little transparent tube, of 25ml only.
IMG_7829

The use of a makeup primer is to smooth the skin so that makeup can be applied more smoothly and evenly, minimize the appearance of pores, as well as to help your makeup to stay on longer.

The formula of this particular primer is lightweight enough, and it glides smoothly and easily onto my skin. I only need twice the amount of what you see in the picture below for my entire face. Thus, even though this tube only contains 25ml of the primer, I think it goes a pretty long way! :)

There is a nice scent but it goes off after awhile. It looks like it is oily as it is rather 'shiny' on the face after application, so a little amount of it would be sufficient for the whole face. I waited for 5 minutes after applying this, before I continue with my face makeup application.

I bought it weeks ago but my first time which I used it was the evening that I went to ZoukOut 2010. Since I planned to stay on at Sentosa till the sun rises, what better time to test this product to see if it does help my makeup to stay on for a tad longer, isn't it? ;)

I applied my makeup at about 5pm that Saturday evening before heading to ZoukOut. If you had read my ZoukOut blog entry, you would know that I went off for a few hours to watch the Narnia movie at Vivocity. After movie ended at about 2am+, I checked my mirror reflection... Good... Makeup has not faded off despite the humid weather that night. But I must add that I did touch up my face with pressed powder when we went back to the car after the movie so that our friends can put their stuff in our car.

After ZoukOut, I continued my Sunday morning at the nearby Tiong Bahru food centre for breakfast with Jiahui and Bbb. Checked my face with the car mirror... Makeup still nice enough. Afterwhich, we dropped Jiahui off at Vivocity as he was continuing his Day 2 in Sentosa for Volleyball (Imagine partying ZoukOut all night long and not heading back home but back to Sentosa for vigorous volleyball?!).

By the time I reached home, my makeup was still so nice that I can continue head out without any touching up if I want to. But no, I was too shagged out and I needed to sleep wahahaha! But do you know what... My face was not as oily even after 15 hours as it would be normally be when I do not use a makeup primer and being outdoors for the whole day!

Very amazing product, and the price is as amazing too, at only 20 SGD++. You can find it at the local personal care stores, like Watson's. It can be used forup to 2 years after opening and product is made in the US. But one thing I didn't like is that if you are being too over-generous with the amount you squeeze out, your face will turn out kinda oily (so DON'T!!). Also, if only this primer is formulated with sunscreen capabilities, that would be more awesome! ^_^

Side track: This was what I ordered for myself for breakfast after ZoukOut....
I was FAMISHED!

ZoukOut 2010 (Latest Photos and Videos!)

*PHOTO HEAVY*

I totally enjoyed myself at the ZoukOut 2010 beach party last Saturday! And I am FINALLY posting the photos taken that night! Sorry for the wait... But as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait! ;p So here goes!~~~

Photo of me holding the pair of ZoukOut tickets.

In this previous blog entry, I blogged about how excited I was and how much I was looking forward to my very first 100% pure fun at ZoukOut where I am absolutely work-free. And what made it even more special was that I got Bbb to come along with me since I was given two ZoukOut tickets... And it was our very first time to ZoukOut TOGETHER. :)

We decided to drive into Sentosa as we did not want to wait for the shuttle bus or hail a cab after we were done partying (and probably rather tired too). The traffic towards Sentosa was not that bad as I thought it would be. Hence, I managed to get into Sentosa rather fast. However, traffic was heavy and slow once I passed through the gantry.

Despite seeing the carpark lot availability signboard stating that there were 200+ lots left at the Beach carpark, we could not park there as the road towards that carpark was blocked off and there was a sign that instructed us to park at the Cove carpark as Beach carpark was full. WHAT CRAP... Cos when I finally reached the Beach station (via the ZoukOut shuttle bus from Cove), I saw that there were so many lots available at the Beach carpark.

As we walked towards the ZoukOut entrance, we noticed a long snaking line and I thought that people were queuing to enter into ZoukOut. But just as I was walking past the people at the front of the queue, a ZoukOut personnel announced using a loud hailer that "The ZoukOut tickets are SOLD OUT". WHOA! Imagine those who spent time queuing up? :-/

After passing through the first security checkpoint, Bbb and I met up with the rest and we entered via the section for Press/Media & VIP only. We did not have to line up to enter and we could head straight to PARTAYYY!!!

You could have enjoyed priority entry VIP queue (till 10pm that night) like us,
if you are a Citi Clear Platinum cardholder. *wink wink*

So what happens when there is a group of fun party-goers and free flow?

ONE: You get babes like Nadnut who wouldn't look at the camera when taking pics. :p

TWO: The person taking the photo for Sara (icyabstract) and me
would take a blurry pic such as the one below :p

THREE: The not-so-high ladies (ie. Sara & Me) would check if those people
that were rather high (such as Bbb) were ok. Lol!

FOUR: You get exposed and people just wanna take photos of those abs
which you have trained hard for, while your girlfriend would try to cover it
as she deemed those abs were meant for her eyes only! Wahahaa!

I didn't twitpic this picture though.
The only place to get such bright lighting was none other than in the portable toilet. LOL!

There was a photographer who took photos for us infront of the Citibank backdrop.
The photos were then printed out in the size of a credit card (How befitting!)

When it was about 11.15pm, Bbb and I made a move outta Zoukout... Don't worry, we weren't leaving the party for home, especially since it had not reached its climax (Climax = Guetta spinning at 5am). We simply popped by Vivocity via the Sentosa Express train to meet our friends whom had booked tickets for the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader at 12.20am.

Photos taken on the train... :)

IMG_1110

Once we were done with the movie, all of us made our way into Sentosa via the ZoukOut shuttle bus from the Harbourfront bus interchange (as the Sentosa Express had ceased operation for the night). We got off at Cove carpark as they wanted to put their bags in Bbb's car. As I was looking forward to get really high and wild with Tiesto, and especially Guetta... I decided to leave my digicam in the car too so that I can jump up and down to their songs. Hence, no more pictures from this point onwards~ But THERE'S VIDEOS! :)

I realised that it rained while we were watching the movie. So ZoukOut party-goers could do the rain dance eh? I missed the fireworks though, but never mind, I can still catch fireworks on New Year's Day, afterall I managed to skip the rain. Hee~ :p

We reached back just in time to get crazy with Tiesto spinning away. But the ultimate ultimate climax for me was when Guetta got on stage. I went wild, but not to the extent of throwing my bra onto the stage lah! Anyway I wouldn't do that since I may become the victim of a molestation case in ZoukOut (Who knows!? LOL!) :p

I did try to take photos of Tiesto and Guetta with my iP4. But the photos turned out pixelated cos I had to zoom in. :( So I shan't post those pictures up, but thankfully the video capture was not that bad. So here's a couple of videos which I captured, and all of David Guetta :p And Sean, my Uni/club mate, called him an attention hoe, but I beg to differ!
I ♥ Guetta!

Well that's all for my ZoukOut 2010!
Hope you had enjoyed yourself at ZoukOut as much as I did!
Totally 100% partying fun for me this year~ (^_^)
