While I am in the midst of detailing down my Italy trip in several blog posts, I am concurrently pondering on my next trip. I am thinking of heading to either Germany, Japan or Korea, and that is not considering the other short trips that I have lined up for the rest of this year. There are not many attractive and irresistible flight ticket promotions right now, probably because it is nearing to year end. This is the time when people clear their annual leave by going on holidays. What's more, the school holiday season is around the corner and that simply means one thing - FAMILY VACATIONS.
I reckoned that this is probably not the best time for me to travel. Especially since I had a great time traveling in September and October already, right? :p However, the travel bug in me is yearning for yet another trip... Today, I received an email announcing the flash sale that is going on at Zuji website. I was attracted to it. And why shouldn't I? Attractive flight ticket prices coupled with a 5% rebate when one uses the American Express credit card. Check out the price as per below image:
But here's the thing, the airline carrier for this promotion is Malaysia Airlines. I am sure you remember the unfortunate incidents of the MH370 flight which disappeared earlier this year in March, and MH17 that was shot down in Ukraine, just few months back in July. One is not to be blamed for having some worries.
Then again, I have a friend who have been taking Malaysia Airlines flights rather frequently and all has been well. It is understood, and also mentioned by him, that the two incidents could have happened on any other airline carriers too.
Why should there be any concerns then? Even the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, has arrived in Malaysia this morning, flying on a Malaysia Airlines flight, before continuing on to Australia, as per reported in a news article.
Now, to plan out my schedule, and to compare the costs and flight timings.
Afterwhich, a decision shall be made. ;)
