Three days ago, I woke up to a rude shock when I discovered that I was unable to delete any of my emails from the inbox of my main Hotmail account. Neither I was able to open any email messages that I received. And all these continued, even if I were to try it with Internet Explorer or Firefox. However, I could log in via my 'extra' Hotmail email account. Now, that was weird, especially since I was able to have a smooth Hotmail user experience on the previous night, right before I sleep.
When I tweeted "#pleasetellmewhy I can't open/delete mails from my Hotmail account!" on my Twitter account, @dumbellz replied that he had the same problem a few days ago. Strangely, his account was back to normal after telling me so. But mine was still acting cranky (as cranky as my current digicam).
Since it is my rest day today, I decided to take time to search for solutions via the WWW. This is because for the past three days, I had to check my emails via another computer and it was so troublesome that I couldn't stand it. I managed to try some of the solutions that I found when I did my online search, and only after trying a few different solutions, the final one worked...
And I became a happy girl!
If you are encountering the same problem with me, here's a few solutions that may work for you. Give it a try! :D
(1) If you are using the IE browser, try using Firefox. And vice versa. If both fails (ie. like how it happened to me), then you have to try the following solutions, till one eventually works for you.
(2) Clear all cookies and browser history.
(3) Go to Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disc Cleanup
(4) Then I thought this would be the most awesome way suggested by someone called tubster: "Go to tools/options/contents/enable java script-advanced/check off disable or replace context menu". And someone replied "EVERYONE LISTEN TO TUBSTER HE'S CORRECT THIS IS THE WAY." When I did as instructed, my problem was not solved. It was clearly NOT the way, in my case. (-_-)
(5) THEN, a guy named Bill suggested this, "I increased my offline storage from 50 to 75.. Get to it by using tools, options, advanced. This worked for me.". Before I clicked 'apply' after following his instruction, I also cleared my offline storage.
Lo and behold, the final solution works for me! YAY!
I believe there are many other solutions that you may need to try, as the cause to my issue might be different from yours. Just try every possible solution that you can find. If all things fail, try Gmail. Hope this entry of mine will come in handy for anyone who encounters this Hotmail issue. Cheers!

@Kelvin You have this problem now? I did read about doing a system restore. Maybe you can try that out too. For me, increasing the offline storage works. Sorry to hear abt ur situation. :S
Thanks a lot. My friend also said tat i had updated some error for my vista. System restore works for me:)
@Kelvin Most welcomed! Probably its the Vista that caused it, since I had this problem too and Im also using Vista. But since my lappy is still in good condition, I see no reason to change to a Windows 7 now. :)
It appears to be a good procedure to fix however, just a good idea...
